Tashkent State Transport University was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 4, 2020 No PP-4703 and the master’s department operates on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 2, 2015 No 36 “Regulations on master’s degree”. is coming. Currently, the department is headed by Ametova Elnara Kuandikovna, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technical Sciences.
At 26 departments of the university are preparing masters in 42 specialties. Classes are taught by qualified professors and leading associate professors of the university, and experienced producers are also invited to teach.
Basically, master’s students are trained to conduct research in their chosen specialty, are ready to conduct independent research and scientific and pedagogical activities, as well as postgraduate studies in their chosen specialty.
Master’s students participate in the Republican inter-institutional and international conferences (conferences) and publish their articles in the materials of these conferences.
The number of graduates graduating from the university this year is 279. The topics of master’s dissertations are selected on the basis of orders of production institutions, which are agreed with the relevant institutions, departments and enterprises of the Ministry of Transport. The defense of master’s dissertations is also carried out in the departments of manufacturing enterprises.
To study in the relevant master’s specialties in 2016 in the Russian Federation, Petersburg State Transport University – 9; In 2017, 1 student was sent to Hiroshima University, 1 student to Wuhan University of China, 3 students to MISIS, 3 students to Far Eastern Federal University and 15 students to Petersburg State Transport University.
After graduation, the graduates carry out their activities in the relevant enterprises of the transport system, enter postgraduate studies, conduct research activities as research students in the departments of the university.
“Intelligent Transport Systems: NewICT based Master’s Curriculain Uzbekistan” № 586292-EPP-1-2017-1-PL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP International Project “Erasmus + In accordance with the Program of the European Union, masters in the new specialty “Intelligent Transport Systems” are being prepared.
In order to provide the established organizations with qualified specialists in modern specialties, the following new specialties have been opened under the master’s program: including “Carriage”; “Electric trains” and “High-speed electric trains”; “Radio electronic devices and systems (railway transport)”; “Traffic safety and its organization”, “Design and construction of highways”.
