In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 11, 2019 No. PP-4185 “On additional measures to strengthen social protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care”, as well as to improve the legislative framework to ensure the rights of orphans and children, deprived of parental or other legal guardianship, support for children in need of social protection, further strengthening of the system of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 739 of November 21, 2020, i.e. state education and treatment of orphans and children deprived of parents or other legal representatives and full state support of medical, social and medical institutions and higher educational institutions after graduation, orphans and children deprived of parents or other legal guardians. The orders of the rector of the university have been developed in accordance with their proposals for the payment of funds in the amount of two times the base calculated amount per month for their personal expenses. According to these orders, out of 15,358 students studying at the university, 6 students will receive financial assistance from the university.
In addition, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-6155 dated February 3, 2021 was adopted in order to provide comprehensive support to young people and promote a healthy lifestyle among the population, improve the well-being of our people and solve the problems of everyday life through high rates of economic growth.
In accordance with the decree, a number of orders of the rector of the university were developed in order to provide comprehensive support to students at the university. Targeted financial assistance is provided to cover contractual costs for orphans, students with disabilities, as well as students from families in need of social protection, who are included in the “Iron Book”. The university organizes the sending of students to medical institutions and trips taking into account the social situation of students. In addition, the university, together with the Transport Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the administration of the Mirabad region, provided various technical equipment.
